he Analysis of Key Factors of the potential development of polygeneration in Chile, training workshop on technological barriers and the Clean Development Mechanisms concerning polygeneration are actions included in TECH4CDM project. Accordingly, the the Chilean National Energy Commission (CNE) - National energy efficiency Programme (PEER) and the Spanish Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE) organized the Polygeneration Training Workshop in Santiago (20-21 July 2009).

This training workshop, was addressed to technical staff from government organisms and private entities and focused on knowledge improving of overcoming Polygeneration projects’ technological barriers. Besides, a complementary session on Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) was included to show CDMs as helpful tools to Polygeneration projects.
