Tech4CDM

The aim of the Ecuadorian government is to carry out a rational exploitation of energy resources and an efficient use of energy all along the energy chain links, making investments that will ensure the country a reliable, low-cost and environmentally-sustainable supply.

One of the most relevant actions has been the recent creation of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy (MEER). Among other issues, it has drafted the survey “Policies and Strategies for the Energy Matrix Change in Ecuador”.
 

The TECH4CDM will analyse the possibilities offered by wind and rural electrification technologies. These technologies can play, as in the case of Ecuador, a relevant role.
 

This project has the support off the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy in Ecuador.
