Tech4CDM

The TECH4CDM project means to promote renewable energies technologies and energy efficiency in five Latin American countries, and enhance the opportunities for these technologies in the said countries, taking advantage of the prospects offered by the clean development mechanisms (CDM).

The technologies dealt with in the project are:

• Wind energy
• Polygeneration
• Solar heating and cooling
  
• Rural electrification
  

The choice of the countries promoting these technologies has been carried out on the basis of surveys previously done, and on the state of affairs shown by these countries during the drafting of the TECH4CDM.
